9" build, need tips...

i'm in the process of building a 9" for my Z28, i have someone that has a jig and will do the cutting and welding for $110.00 bucks, seems reasonable to me... anyway what all do i need to have for him to weld onto the housing and where can i get it... also would you use LCA's or traction/ lift bars? i would like to eleminate the need for the torque arm... thanks in advance...

if you search on here about the "traction action" bars you'll find many reasons not to run them. - If you're going through all the work, put a good tq arm in. They work well, why eliminate it?

- as for the rear itself, you'll need the lca/shock mounts, the panhard mount, and the spring mounts. You'll have to figure out brakes. You'll also need either axles that match your wheels or wheels to match the axles it has.
