Me again. What are the symptoms of a bad TC? What I am experiencing is this:

Start engine and can hear something metal rattling inside the TC.

Can go into reverse, here clicking while backing.

Can go forward for about 1/4 mile. After the that, the car fells like its not shifting (like its slipping), and reverse does not work.

Can star over from step one the next day and repeat...

Also, I have a leak in the transmission (seperate issue, the above problem is not related to fluid). The leak is on the passenger side right around where the middle bolt is. I have changed the seal and still seems to leak from there. Its a TH350 by the way. Am I missing something or is my pan/transmission screwed?
