I'm trying to figure out what gears came stock in an 89 T/A w/700R4. Can anybody help me?

 

A bone stock 89 auto 305would have came with 2.73's most likely.


But that could have changed either from the factory or over the last15 years.


Your best bet is to pull the cover off the diff and count the teeth on the gears. Another method would be to mark the driveshaft and spin the tire one rotation and see how many times the driveshaft spions.
