Question about Posi/Limited Slip
Unsure if I have a bad posi like someone suggested or the fact i'm mashing the car down too quickly, my first sports car besides by dads 94 z28 that was pretty souped up.. but even depressing the gas in halfway my camaro shimmys in place and the tire spins.. i have to take off slowly and then punch it. i understand that limited slip is not exactly 'posi' because only one tire spins first so is that basically what i'm experiencing? by pushing in the pedal too hard in the beginning im putting too much torque to the wheels and one wheel is spinning while the other is trying to catch it's ground.
how do you properly take off then if i were to go to a drag race? you ease on it then mash it when both of your tires are spinning at the same speed?

about the only differance between posi and limited slip is the way the letters are arranged. tire spin is an indication of traction, or lack of traction. having power to both would reduce tire spin but even with both pulling you can still spin the tires. you'd want to take off however applied the most power the quickest without tire spin. shoot for the lowest 60' you can get, anyway you can get it.

bad launch would probably be right, i'm putting down too much gas in the beginning. i doubt anything is wrong with my posi because i can mash it down when i'm driving and take off just fine without any slipping or pulling, it's just when i'm at a complete stop.
