What Pilot Bearing/Bushing for TKO500/600?
Or even just the measurement of the input shaft of the TKO (exact measurement). I have searched everywhere I can think of and I'm getting nothing but dead ends.

Still looking for this information. 4 different parts store chains, 3 different pilot bearings/bushings 0 success. Some-one please chime in.

AFAIK the pilot bearing fits in the crankshaft, and the measurement for the input shaft of the trans is universal.
Get the pilot bearing for a 400CID crank hole, which, i'm guessing is exactly the same size as all SBC's.
you have the choice of a roller bearing or a copper (or AL?) bushing style IIRC. You can choose. The roller ones have less friction, but *if* it locks up, it's harder than the input shaft, and so the $$$input shaft$$$ wears, rather than the $10 pilot bushing.

I thought the diameter of the input shaft would be the same as well. My clutch disk fits on it fine but the smaller diameter part that goes into the pilot bearing/bushing is about .07" larger diameter than that of the stock t5 I have laying right next to it. It almost seems like the input shaft wasn't machined correctly.
