This flywheel/pressure plate came out of a 22k mile LS1. It has some weird surface wear that im not sure about. kind of a shame if its beyond use since theres so much left on the disc and some spots are hardly worn in.

 

Pretty typical hot spots from the PO slipping it alot. Not knowing how to start off from a stop and let the clutch get hooked up solid as soon as possible; and letting off the clutch pedal slowly when shifting; and pushing the clutch slowly while the gas pedal is still depressed. Just ordinary driver error.

 

I guess that would also explain how the previous owner hit a tree sideways hard enough to crack the tailshaft housing... gotta know how to drive these things. Not all bad though, eng/trans now lives in my car.

 

I noticed those on the flywheel/pressure plate also when i bought mine...and now im a little worried. Should i be that concerned or will it fuction properly? I can get pictures if u guys would like to see how mine looks.
