4:10 gears in a v6

Car: 91 Camaro RS
Engine: GM PP crate 350
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3:42 spooled 10 bolt
4:10 gears in a v6

someone told me to go with a 4:10 ratio rather then the 3:73 ? wont that make it rev extremely high on the highway?..

Axle/Gears: 3.73 open
You can use the tech equations on this site to figure your new highway rpm. Whether or not it is 'extreme' is up to you.

Is 3.42 the stock ratio for a V6 Firebird?
