I have a 84 Z28 and I just had a 700r4 from a 1986 blazer beefed up for my car. This is the first time i am putting the tranny in and the shifter linkage dosent seem to be going into park its like i need a 1/2 more shifter cable. Any suggetions

 

i am having the same problem. i can't figure it out. have you got yours yet?

 

I havent figured it out yet and its sucks because I have a new motor and tranny and I cant get the car to move. I think Im just going to let it sit till next year and to pissed off to try and figure it out anymore.

 

The blazer use a different shifter linkage on the trans. The arm is smaller then a fbody or most cars for that matter. You need the correct linkage for your application or it will not fit.

GM dealer for a new one maybe, or a Junkyard or transmission shop for a used on.
