700r4 crossmember?
hi, on my 91 bird v-8 my transmission crossmember is bent, so i am looking to get a new one, but my question is, Would a crossmember off of a v-6 work on my v-8 car? Thanks
As long as the V6 car is also a 700r4, the crossmember should be the same. You have to watch out for some of the manual trans V6 crossmembers because they use a screwy donut shaped mount instead of the standard style mount.

thanks guys, today i was able to get on off of a v-6 bird. the car was so rotted i just about pulled it off the car.
