can i throw in a th350 in my car from a 70 chevelle or do i have 2 modify

You can. You need to get a conversion kit, from hurst or B&M, also is it a 6inch tail? You may also want to get a 200c driveshaft or get a new one from Spohn.
I did the conversion in my 82 and I had the 200c so I reused the driveshaft.
It's really an easy swap. Only thing I have to do now is to tweak the governor. Cause the car will not drop into first unless I do it manually.
