stock tranny, i just got it rebuilt with a shift kit and corvette servo. b4 i got it done there was a bad knock from the tranny, only when in regular drive gear when i would slow down and it would shift down into 1st, there is a knock and jerk coming from the tranny. with it rebuilt, it still does it...so i asked the tranny store to try and fix it, and so they reduced the pressure in the tranny which didnt fix the problem all that good and now my acceleration is now slower. they will be putting the pressure set back to how i got it after rebulding in a couple of days it which is good...my main question is does anyone else have this problem with a 700r4 tranny? overdrive its fine with downshifting, just the reg drive with the 3 gears that does it with downshifting into 1st.
any help or explanations would be great

Are you sure it is in the tranny? Were the u-joints changed with the tranny rebuild? Could it be anything in the rear?

If it is in the tranny, I would keep pushing at the tranny shop to get it right...

 

at first they thought it was the rear end but then they changed their opinions....is there anyway i can tell from under the car if its the rear axle? i jus think its fishy that they tell me it only does it in d because there is only 3 gears and the rpms go higher, when ive had it in 2nd goin 50 and it did not knock at all......

 

sounds kinda like a cracked flexplate, did they re-install the old one, it could have had a hairline crack that they missed
