2 series to 3 series easiest swap

Ok I have a 92 camaro rs 305 tbi with auto(assuming 2.73 ratio). I putting a 385 stroker engine in and want either 3.42 or 3.73 gear ration. What is the easiest and cheapest way to go about this swap? Buy the houseing,change the gears and axels and Id be good? I also want rear disk brakes but its such a hassel to ship or receive a whole rear end so whats my cheaoest ans easiet way of doing this? Thanks for any help!!!

find a 4th gen rear you can find one at a yard for a few hundred

cheapest and easiest, find someone to give you a rear set up how you want and then they instal it for you too, for free. it might take a little effort on your part to find this person, but i'm sure if you look long enough you'll find them. good luck.

I just bought a 28 spline posi drum (not disc like i wanted) for $150 shipped ?hope) help with the rear end. Im sure he will know all the tricks but anything I need to know in case I try it myself ?

dont think i would have bought the drum rear, they are not the easyest to change to disc

At this point I wasnt going to worry about the disc, I just wanted the posi. If and when Im going to do the rear end its going to be a 12 bolt.
