t/c locking up in all gears

Car: 89 gta ws6, Dodge Turbo Diesel, H-D
Engine: 383 4-bolt #638 block
Transmission: 700r4, corvette servo, 2200 stall
Axle/Gears: 3.27 9 bolt b-w, pbr discs
t/c locking up in all gears
I've been reading too long doing searches and I have not seen what is happening with mine. I have done the easy forth gear lockup using the 4th gear switch in the tranny pan and all was wel for a long time aprox.9mos and now it locks up in every gear, what has happened? is the 4th gear switch bad? or something more sinister?
