Strange 12-bolt owners inside please

For those of you who are using Strange 12bolt rears and disc brakes.....what did you do for a caliper bracket? I spoke to Strange this morning and they said that my 91's rear disc brakes can't be used. I have 1LE brakes and would like to keep them. Did you guys fab up a caliper bracket and use that in place of Strange's retaining plate on the rear end? BTW, I bought the 82-92 rear, not the 93+.
Help appreciated.

Update to situation (Moderators bump to brake board if it makes more sense)
I've taken the (4) bolts out of the 91 10bolt disc rear caliper mount plate and measured the mounting holes and center hole dia. Looking at the Strange 12bolt rear everything NOW looks like it will work. I have no way of actually finding out without removing the axles from both rears to swap the 10bolt caliper plates over to the 12bolt. What are peoples experience trying to use rear 1LE brakes on a 82-92 strange 12bolt??

I talked to a guy at Spohn about this. He said to just re-drill the backing plate to the new 12 bolt flange pattern. You may need to use spacers on the caliper to center it over the rotor.

Did any one verify this?!

I thought the 93-97 plates come standard with the axle, which are the same as the stock 89-92 10 bolt rear disc brackets. Or do you need to get the optional aluminum plates (OPRG12)that will allow the brakes to bolt up?

If the rear has the ford axle ends, you can use the '91 PBR backing plates.

if its like my 12 bolt with the ford bearing housing just have the backing plates machined. then redrill the bolt housing pattern. that way you dont have to space anything out.
