95 Camaro Z28 4l60e transmission leak?

You know there is a dust cover on the front of the transmission? Or whatever it is. I believe it covers the torque converter? And a huge gear infront of it (spins when car is on). For some reason I am leaking tranny fluid from somewhere above that, because its draining down the torque converter when the car is on. Im thinking maybe a hose leak? I cant see a hose, but i was just under there for a fiew min. because i didnt have it lifted yet. Could someone please tell me where a hose would be above there? And if there is, how would I (not a mechanic) go about taking the hose off and replacing it. I have about $25 to my name, so i cannot afford a mechanic. I dont have a lift, just 2 ramps, and its in a parking lot. Thanks in advance, i appreciate it very much!
