Hi, Been crusing your boards for a long time. Like the board a lot. Thinking about buying a 90 Iroc. I guess the tranny is in bad shape. If the body underside, etc.. are all good I may pick it up if the price is right. A couple of questions:

1. Could I drop the transmission with the car on jackstands? Would there be enough room to get the tranny out.

2. Then how much does it cost to rebuild a tranny?

Oh and this is an automatic.

Any other info would be great.
