My trans wont go into gear and i wanna get it rebuilt about how much did it cost you guys to get it rebuilt, i wanna get a trans go shift kit too. I would Appreciate the help guys

I've seen rebuilt 700R4's go for $800-2000. You could also call your local tranny shops and ask them.

 

DIY!!

I rebuilt mine myself and it was worth it. Since I didn't have to pay for the labor, spent $960 bucks or so on heavy duty hard parts etc.

If you did it yourself you could get away as cheap as $300-400 in parts (rebuild kit, transgo kit, new pump and TC if needed) and around $50-60 in tools.

Here in town the local transmission shop (4 years ago) wanted $1400 to pull, rebuild, and replace the 700R4 in my TA.

 

yeah i called some shops around town they said they have to look it first then tell me, one of em said $1200 rebuilt tranny and transgo S/K so i'm thinkin of goin to that one cause i dont have time to do it myself.
