gears/posi swap out questions

First of all, I was wondering what gears came in the 92 Camaro RS with 305 TBI 5-speeds?That's what i have right now and i've bought a posi unit from a 91 Z28 and the guy who sold it to me said it was a 3 series and would go right in if my gears were 3.08's and higher but i have no idea what i have. But i'm planning on getting 3.73's soon so maybe i'll just wait but i would still like to get some input on my question.

Thanks,

William

pull the cover and look, it's the only 100% reliable way to know what you have.

IIRC, the series two carrier is for 3.08 and lower, the series three for 3.23 and higher.
