700r slides into od now????

The trans was rebuilt professionally and worked absolutely fine. I put maybe 3K miles on it, then the car sat for about 3 years. After I have the stroker motor in it and a 3500 stall, its acting up. If I'm slowly accelerating in OD it slides into 4th. Never did this before. Is this possibly a kickdown issue? I haven't tried letting the car upshift by itself @ WOT. Want to straighten this out before I burn it up.

forward cluthes(overdrive) are burning up (slipping). check your tv adjustment and fuid level. more than likely the trans will need to come out.

Push the servo cover in and out. You may need to put a piece of wood against the tunnel and use a prybar to move the cover. If it moves in and out more than an 1/8 of an inch, servo pin may be too short.

I'm gonna recheck the tv cable in the am. It's not like it gradually started doing this. It shifted fine when I last drove it. I launched it today from a stop in low 1 and it shifted into 2nd by itself. I've never known it to do that. Could it be because I no longer have the computer in the car?

UPDATE: I had the tv cable adjusted all the way back and it still wasn't enough. Took it to a trans shop where my buddy works and we ended up putting split-shot on the front of the cable to take up the slack. Now the only thing that's slippin' are them damn drag radials when I romp on it.
