quick question, is this wc t5 swap possible?

88 2.8L V6 World Class T-5 ----> 87 z28
87 5.0L V8 Non World Class T-5 ----> 88 Camaro 2.8L

Swapping the whole clutch assembly as well.

Non World Class from Z28 has new clutch
World Class needs new clutch assembly (ill do it on the bench over the winter)

reasoning is obvious, z28 is in winter project phase
need the v6 camaro for winter, i might as well swap the trannys

tranny input/output is a concern, i dont know, i shouldnt have to swap driveshafts will I?

The driveshafts are the same, but the V6 and V8 transmission input shafts are different I think the V6 is 11 spline and the V8 is 26 spline, as well as the clutch and bellhousing are different.

has anyone done this swap b4?

the whole clutch assembly is getting swapped as well, the clutch and the bellhousing are coming off the z28 along with the tranny to go onto the v6 camaro.
anyone know the spline counts for sure???
this has to be possible
so essentially, the v6 WCT5 is the same tranny as a v8 wc t5 just with a different input spline?

The V6 input shaft is 14 spline and is also slightly longer than the V8 input shaft. I would think that as long as the V8 bellhousing and flywheel/clutch will actually bolt up and fit the V6, then it should work. However, I don't know if the bolt circle on the V6 crank flange is the same as the V8. I know on the older motors, the V8 and V6 trannys were interchangeable, but I'm not sure on the thirdgens.
