rear end Upgrades

Ok fixing my brakes turned into ripping the whole rear end apart so while im at it what else should i do to this rear end here is my info as best as i can figure out...
1982 camaro
305, edelbrock intake manifold, carberator, valve covers
350 tranny with shift kit (or so the guy said)
10 bolt rear end and all new drum brakes...what should i do next?
I kind of want to keep this cheap or cheapis as i dont know if i want to sell this car or drive it...she is starting to grow on me though...

You can put on new bearings/seals on the outsides.

I'm not sure you want to tear apart the rear at this stage. I mean, do you want to upgrade the gear ratio ($400 say), or put in a new posi ($500 say), or strength upgrades, which you probably don't need now ($300-700 depending on what you do?).
Or just some preventative maintenance like wheel bearings and seals ($40).
