The 700r4 in my 84 camaro has a hard time shifting when cold, and will flare into 3rd guy and slip into 4th, so naturally im trying to find the cheapest fix.

Lowest shop price - 800
College - 400 maybe

So I'm looking to buy a slightly used 700r4, but unsure of what year will work. I've heard the 87 + wont because of the case change and wiring changes..
