Hey, I got a quick question. I have an 86 Camaro with an automatic in it. I just put in a 350 with a T-5 out of an 83. The speedo cable does not fit into the T-5. The head of the speedo cable needs to be bigger to screw onto T-5. I still have the auto tranny, with the proper size connector on it. Can I just take that out or do i have to do something special for it. The T-5 has just been rebuilt I dont even have any fluid in there yet. Do I have to get a gasket or anything? I'm trying to get the car running by monday, so I need help quick. Thanks, Thomas

I looked at it a little closer and found the flnage that actually screws in. It fits.
