If the disc rear in question looks like the one in the following link, it's from an 82-88 car--not the best brakes, but with the "fix' kit acceptable, IMO. As for the posi, check the second page of the link. You'll see what the posi generally looks like.

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tran...ighlight=gears

If the rear calipers are finned alum, the rear is from an 89-92 car and is very desirable. To see those, check below:

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/faq-...iscs-89-a.html

Here's how to determinne what ratio the rear is (jerk the diff cover and look): numbers are stamped on the ring and pinion:

41 : 15 = 2.73
41 : 14 = 2.93
40 : 13 = 3.08
42 : 13 = 3.23
41 : 12 = 3.42
41 : 11 = 3.73

That`s the good thing of getting an answer from somebody who really knows. THANK YOU!!!
Yet another thing, those 82-88 or 89-92 discs and caliper would fit in stock 15 in. Wheels???

The front rotors currently on your car will be the same size as the 82-88 rear rotors, about 10.5 inches, so no fitment problems for your 15's. The rotors on the 89-92 J65 rear, however, are about 11.7 inches. These latter rotors/calipers will fit under an IROC 16-inch wheel, but I'm unsure about 15's.

The 89-92 style discs will fit under the stock, five spoke 15x7 Camaro rims. It's close, but they fit. I run my 15x7's with snow tires in the winter on mine with a 91 GTA PBR disc rear.
