9" swap

I had a friend swap out my rear withe a 9" some years back and the ride height came out way to high due to the axle tube size difference,any suggestions?

Engine: SLOW carbed ls

Transmission: TH400 with brake, 8" PTC converter

Axle/Gears: moser 9" 4.11

pictures? axle tube difference is .5" in diameter which would be .25" in difference spread out over the tubes at the most, so I'll need pics to verify how that alone caused the car to sit too high.
