Rear Differential Yoke

Now that you guys (and some searching) have provided everything I need to know about the aluminum driveshaft I'm at the next step. I am guessing there is a difference in the differential yoke for the aluminum driveshaft. My rear yoke takes the u-joints with the c-clip towards the inside. By the pictures posted it looks like the aluminum shaft has the clips on the outside of the u-joint caps. If this is so, then I will need a new differential yoke to fit an aluminum shaft onto my car. Am I correct in this assumption?

Unless you changed the end yoke on the diff pinion any 3rd/4th gen aluminum dr shaft yoke should bolt rigth up with no problems.

After selling 70+ JG1/1LE alum drive shafts, I came to the conclusion that they would fit 88-92 cars without difficulty. My 85 required another U-joint as did other members' cars which were pre-88. I used and recommended CarQuest p/n 3-3130.
