I have a 1982 trans am, 3 speed automatic, originally crossfired, and a 305. I have some questions.
Is this a Turbo 350, or TH350, or is there another? Is there a difference between turbo 350 or TH350 or are they the same thing just different names?
Does this transmission in this year car, that came stock with a crossfire injection system have electronic torque convertor lockup that i will have to worry about with a carb conversion? I have had the carb on and it seems to have good power, doesn't seem to overrev or anything, but I want to make sure. If it is electronic, will the torque convertor lockup switch mod work the same on this 82? Just connecting the top outermost wires to a switch?
Thank you for any information anyone can give!

It's a 200C. :barf: Grossly inferior to a 350, in terms of durability.
TH350 = Turbo-Hydramatic 350 = Turbo 350 = 350
All the same thing, just different nicknames.
Yes you can lock up the 200C converter with a switch. I don't know offhand which wires it is.
If you put a motor in there with some power, I'd strongly recommend getting rid of the 200C, and putting in a 350. While the overall lameness of CFI will protect the 200C from excessively short life, that POS won't live long behind anything that runs decent.
