Axle/Gears: 9" posi, 4.11
Rebuilding 700R4
I'm in the process of rebuilding my 88 700R4 and also need to change speedo gears to work with the new 4.11 gears in the Ford 9"
I have found out I will need to replace the housing for the driven gear. On the electronic speed sensor, does that come off it, or is that a whole new unit I would have to buy? It appeared that it was all one piece, but I could have been wrong. I'm still in teardown and havn't got to the cleaning/inspection stage yet.
