I have a rebuilt 700r4 with no more then 300 miles on it since last year, I was ripped off by cottman, they wouldnt do a t56 swap, or let me get a highperformance 700r4. Now im stuck with this trans, Its an 84 27 spline, and im pretty sure if it is even rebuilt(they probably did) it wont last with the power of my 406, wich should be making my car run 11's.

Now the advice I got was to run street tires, instead of slicks, to be easier on the trans. but how can I go deeper into saving this? i spent close to a grand on it, and i still have to pay it off, so i dont want it to be a loss.
