Axle/Gears: 3.42
Short tail shaft?
i have a good short tail shaft tranny and a bad long tail shaft tranny. what would i have to do to put the long tail shaft in the short?

Axle/Gears: '01 3.42 10 bolt
well, assuming you are talking about the th350, you would have to take the whole tranny apart to swap shafts.
to convert a 700 4X4 to a 2wd, you would have to take the whole tranny apart to swap shafts.
