I did a T5 swap a few years back. I was just wondering if the T5 from a 3.8 car that has a 28 spline shaft is the same wc t5 used in the v8 cars? They look identical. Can anyone verify this?? Thanks

I've always heard / read that the V6 cars came with a different version of the T5. If you shop one you'll find everyone has different part numbers for a V6 and V8. They do look identical but the design or materials in the gears and synchros must be different.
