is there any difference between the 700r4 tranny that was mated to the l98(350tpi) and the lo3(305tbi)? is a 4th gen posi disc rear a direct bolt on replacement for my stocker?

tranny should be the same. the rear will bolt in, but the e-brakes cables wont and the brake line flare on the flex goin from the body to the axle is different. and the axle is wider, so you will need different backspacing on the wheels
