i was wondering how the auto shifter in these cars work. im thinking of adding one to my Blazer. basically i want to know about upshifting. is there any ratchet action to it, or does it blow though each gear. i know there is a shift gate mod for mustangs that prevents over-shifting, and i was wondering if there is anything like this for F-Bodies. i sift at like 4500rpm at WOT, and its too easy to miss a gear with my junk column shifter. thanks for any advise, Jim.
