Throttle Cable
All right,
I have a 1992 camaro rs. 3.1 automatic with overdrive. It seems like when i go to full throttle my RPM's go to like 5k but i dont seem to get going any where. Its actually faster to graduly push down on the throttle. It seems like it doesnt want to shift. I was told that the throttle cable may be bad. I dont think the transmission is slipping. I have read the post on how to adjust the throttle cable, after you push in on the clyinder and push the cable back to the firewall and let off, go to WOT and it should click. Mine doesnt do any clicking. I tryed it one day and it seemed to shift better but it shifted so hard, even at 25 mph and not on the gas hard it would jump the car. Anyone have any suggestions?
