i had brought my car to get a shift kit, and 3000 stall to get installed in my 700r4. he said he wired a lock up inside the transmission i just need to set up the switch? now he gave me a connector, which was broke, that goes on the side of the transmission and said just go pick up a new one and run the wire to the on/off switch and other to ground. Then ground the switch, and also stick one wire in the fuse box (three wires coming from the switch)

is this all that needs to be done to get my lock-up working on my transmission?

 

Depends what he did inside the transmission, but it could be that simple.

 

any certain questions i should ask?

 

See if he can give you a wiring diagram.
