im installing a tremec t-56 and in my 85 camaro and im not sure what i need to buy to hook up the cable to the transmission. I believe it uses what the t-5 does. I probably need some kind of housing and a speedo gear. The gear inside the transmission is blue and it looked like it was a 6 tooth. What tooth gear do i need to match up with the 3.42 rear end and where do you buy the housing and gear from?

 

One of the companies that advertizes on the board will have everything that you need. They can also help you out with the correct great to match your rear end gears. You will need to tell him your tire size too. That will effect the spedo as well.
