T5 HELP
I HAVE A 86 Z28 IT HAD A T5 BUT WHEN I GOT THE CAR IT CAME WITH A 700R4.I BURNT 3RD AND 4TH OUT SO I WANT TO GO BACK TO A T5 ANYWAYS I WAS WONDERING WHAT I COULD PULL A T5 OUT OF AT THE JUNK YARD THANK FOR ANY INFO

Lose the all-caps. It is very hard to read, and besides, is EXTREMELY rude: it makes it look like YOU ARE SHOUTING AT US.
You need the T-5, bell housing, flywheel, clutch, shifter, hydraulics, console trim plate & boot, lower shifter boot, and pedal assembly, out of a V8 Camaro or Firebird from 83-92. Make sure you get EVERY PIECE of the pedal stuff; the bracket they mount in, the 2 braces that go down to the firewall, the switches, etc. If your car came with a T-5, some portion of that might already be there, I of course cannot see it clearly because your monitor is turned the wrong way from the front seat, so you'll have to be the judge. I'd suggest getting EVERY PIECE out of your donor car though, since it'll cost the same, and it's a whole lot easier to just not use something extra you have on hand, than it is to stop down and go back and get it in the middle of a swap-out.
No, a 6-cyl one will not work.
No, a Mustang one will not work.
No, a S-truck one will not work.
No, a 4th gen one will not work.
Did I miss any of the common "will a such-and-such work?" questions?
Let's get those out of the way up front.
If you can, get one out of a 88-up TPI car.

the junk yard doesn't have any camaros in it
Or, look through the classifieds on this site, and things like car-part.com
i was wondering if i can use a T5 out of some thing else
