has any one here done or seen a t5 in to a second gen if so what needs to be done for clutch lincage i have a 91rs 5 speed that a am puting a newer t5 in and a 81 trans am thats geting a chevy heart transplant and i like stick cars ther mor fun

 

Be careful, the T5 can't take a lot of power from a 350. I had an 85 TA with a very mild 350 transplant, probably no more than 250 hp and it ate the T5 in about 6 months. Second gear just went away.

 

I have seen converted cars, so I know it's possible. However, I THINK you need the mechanical linkage from the 82-83 cars for ease of installation.

yea thanks for the advice because the engine going in the trans am is close to 500 hp so i dont think it would last then because the second gear is messed up now i would just destroy it then
