TCI brand TCC Lockup Kit
I have the TCI brand TCC lock up kit, part number TCI376600. Today, while trying to check the vacuum going into the vacuum switch from the kit, the vacuum nipple broke off the switch.
My question - is there any other source to get a vacuum switch from, other than going back to TCI? The vacuum switch completes a circuit for ground when 8-10 inHG are achieved in the switch.
I ask because, although TCI generally has decent products, this vacuum switch included in this kit just plain sucks. It's too small to do anything with - I even had a hard time finding some sort of screw/bolt to run through the mounting holes. The electrical connections on it are not standard size - I had to squeeze female connectors down to stay on the male ends of the switch. And TCI suggests drilling into this tiny gadget to uncover some hidden adjustment screw to adjust the vacuum sensitivity? How? It's smaller that a matchbook, and thinner as well! I'm sure drilling into it would make a huge mess! LOL
Anyway, any ideas greatly appreciated!

You can get a switch from GM, or transmissioncenter.net. There are probably other sources as well.
