Annoying Grinding sound???

Engine: 305 T.P.I.
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.23
Annoying Grinding sound???
Sometimes when my car is in gear (doesn't do it in park) and the brake is pressed all the way there is a weird grinding noise coming from under the car. I dont know what is causing this the only thing I can think of is the U.V. joints. Is this what is wrong, or is it the tranny?
