I swaped a T-5 into an auto '91 RS and it was a real b*$%# kitty to stab, it is hard to shift and has to be forced into gear. I've been away from manual transmissions for a long time, so what are the most likeley culprits? I thought it must be the clutch alignment, but I pulled it apart and realigned it about 4 times and that didn't fix it.

I'm thinking maybe you put the throwout bearing on wrong. if that's not on right, the clutch won't engage all the way, or at all. Notice the thin metal tangs in the purple circles. are they inside the groove like this or outside?
