Anyone every come of with a definitive answer on why GM put them monster weights on some T5 sticks that hang off the tail but not all. And or why they did it for real, not speculation and why most experience no trouble removing it?
I do know I gave a spare one to a friend with a Ford truck that had dual 4 speeds end to end and it help keep things front jerking around as much. He used an old end shaft n some clutch hubs to get a mega range.
But that doesn’t apply too much. But I can kind a see how it would stock that torque lift the tranny does.
