Hey guys I'm getting a '91 camaro in a couple weeks. It's geared to a 4:10 right now but i'm making it into a daily driver. does anyone want to swap for either a stock gear or a lower gear. It would be a cheaper way for someone to get a 4:10 for their car. I don't want any money out of a swap just a lower gear. Thanks

 

How many light years are you from Dallas, Tx. If your close, I'll swap.

 

where are you at

you trading entire axle or just the gear set and carrier ?

i have a good 2.73 axle under my 82
i want 3.42 or more under it


lower gear is technically deeper- IE 4.10, 4.56, 4.88, etc

higher gear is higher ratio like 2.56 2.41 2.28 etc

yeah i meant lower number wise not actual ratio. I'm wanting to go back towards a stock gear. Gears or axle either one will work. I'm in Knoxville, TN. Dallas could be a stretch.
