replaced rear end., and i broke it
yea so long story short, i had a whine in my rear end., that was throttle sensitive,. and i replaced it with a whole nother rear end., nothing new.,just one from a doner car., and every thing was going good,. and as i was driving it down to the auto zone for fluied,. it sounded like somthing mechanicaly went wrong like clanking and then like something dragging,. then started go go away., now it seems it right back where i started from it has a whine to it at hiway speeds then goes away when i let up off the throttle.,,.what is my problem ., could it be possible (and hear me out on this) that the chity shocks that are on there is causeing it to mess up,. someone putting to much pressure on the pinion., from bottoming out,. cause im sitting really low,. i was gonna replace the shocks but seemed i could not turn the fuggin nut loose with out the stud turnin as well,. anyway when i got home i put in a whole bottol of fluied., i could not believe it took the whole, i thought for sure, there was some fluied in there.,,. so what yall think ,.,. where did i do damage., or is this happining from my shocks??
Thanks in advance

i wouldnt have driven it with out the fluid in it thats probably why it started to whine again. It needs to be lubricated and from the sounds of it you didnt do it.

It's not the shocks; believe that.
I'd be more inclined to think it has something to do with being run dry. Not to be mean or anything; but it's generally understood that it's a good idea to check the fluid level in junk parts you put in your car, if only just for the helluvit. Just a thought, for next time, you know.
The rear should hold about 2 bottles of fluid. I'd suggest putting another one in it. Although, it's probably too late now, it's already smoked. Probably every bearing, every gear, and the axles.

Yep, sad but true. That rear end is now probably in worse shape than your original one!
I wouldnt do more than run it across the garage with no oil in it, let alone drive downtown!
