hows this look?

as you can see i got ripped off by a member here dont remember his name but i can look it up if you guys would like. this is the product i recieved after him telling me it had "minor scratches that wont affect it working" and getting pictures from far away that doesnt even show it all chewed up as such. O and on top of this the ring and pinion gears dont mesh WTF! o and all the white thing and spots you see are packing peanuts got them inside the unit.

^thats my favorite right there the carnage!

Re: hows this look?

Really, it doesn't matter. The thing will work fine in spite of all that. Nothing functional is damaged; it just looks like bloody hell.

Looks like the pinion nut backed off in the previous installation, and the pinion got sucked into the housing when it was in "coast". It's not anything to do directly with the carrier, except that the carrier was the thing that stopped the pinion from going any farther than it did.

What R & P don't "mesh"? I don't see one on it.

That's just a stock Auburn out of about a 96 model LT1 car. Can't see enough of it to tell what series it is (2 or 3). I hope you didn't pay more than $25 or so for it. Less if it's a 2 series.
