Had this car in and out of the shop a few times, first it was the flexplate breaking teeth. Then it was some starter wiring issue. Now the car wont move, i got it back from the shop drove it around parked it, later in the day went to reverse it and a small pop from the tranny area and the car didnt move any more...still running just not going anywhere. Linkage seemes to be ok, the shifter moves through all the gears it just doesnt engage. A newly met friend from thirdgen in the area took a look and found some problems with the car as far as transmissions all he realy could tell me was it had 3 times as much fluid in it, seeing as he hasnt worked on trannys. If any one could help me diagnose this problem I would really appreciate it.

The transmission simply wont engage any gear. I drained almost all the excess fluid out of it and it still will not do anything. Please any advice would help.

I def don't know trannys.

But if you post some more info others might be able to help

What year is it, how many miles on it, do you have a stall? shift kit?

All the info you can add will help the more experienced guys help you out.
