Engine: 350 TBI

Transmission: 700R4

Axle/Gears: 3.08 (stock)

Gear Speeds

I was wondering about what speed my car should do within its individual gears. For example, how many miles per hour should a car do at its redline in first gear? My car is a basically stock 1988 V8 camaro with an automatic and the stock rear end. I also would like to know about other people's modified cars and their transmissions and gearing.

My '89 Formula would do about 35-40mph in first gear at redline!

It was all stock 305 TBI automatic with the stock rear end!

Thats interesting, Ive been wondering if there is something wrong with my transmission, and it only does about 30 in first, and about 60 in second. My dad's 1995 Chevy pickup does that. Thanks for the help.
