Clutch Pedal Push Rod Clip
Hey guys. My clutch pedal came disconnected from the push rod on my 86 305 Bird. I checked it out, & the clip that holds it together seems to be missing most of the teeth.
Does anyone know the specific name or number for the clip so I can snap it back into place? Thanx in advance.

Re: Clutch Pedal Push Rod Clip
You're talking about the plastic clip? I'm not sure what to do about a replacement. If I remember right, it was an integral clip and bushing for the pushrod hole. Not sure if just the clip is availible or not.
On a side note....I wore through half of the post on the pedal a while back after mine had gone without any protection for so long. I didn't realize anything was wrong until the eye/lug on the pushrod wore completely through and fell off the pedal! Hopefully you can just get the clip and won't have to buy a new slave cylinder assembly like I did.

Re: Clutch Pedal Push Rod Clip
Just thought I'd mention this option if you want to upgrade your setup and avoid the cheap plastic clip. The master cylinder on the 93-97 4th gen f-bodies is identical to the thirdgen unit, except for the fact that it uses a metal clip just like the one that holds your brake booster pushrod on the brake pedal. The stud for your clutch pushrod already has the slot machined in it for the metal clip too. So if you want to improve your setup, just grab the master cylinder/clip assembly from any V6 or V8, 93-97, manual trans, 4th gen car in a junkyard.
