RAM Powergrip vs CFDF vs SPEC Stage 2

Stock clutch has pretty much bit it and I'm looking for some input from those who have used any of these clutches. The RAM Powergrip, Centerforce DF and the SPEC Stage 2 are all priced around the same. The car never sees the track, but it is street driven pretty hard. I need something with more holding power than the stock GM clutch. Any info would be appreciated.

I've heard both good and bad things about the Centerforce clutch, so that one would be a roll of the dice. I've heard nothing but good things about the Spec clutches, and I'm using a Ram Powergrip in one of my cars, and it's been an awesome clutch. I'd say if you go with the Ram or the Spec, you'll probably be in good shape.

What issues have people had with the Centerforce set?

I've had the CFDF in my old 86 and it was an awesome clutch setup. Had no issues with it in the 30K miles a had it in my car. Ended up selling the tranny and clutch setup when I blew up the 305, clutch setup still looked great when we pulled it out.

I just put in a new clutch in my Formula and went with a Hays kit for $250 (comes with everything, Clutck, PP, TO bearing, and pressure plate bolts).
I like the Hays, feels good and hold great.

See, from what Zepher said, that's why I say it's a roll of the dice with the CF. Some people say they work great, others say they've had problems with them. I haven't personally used one yet, but I will be soon. I picked a brand new one up on ebay a while back for a paltry $130, so I figure I've got nothing to lose by running it. As far as problems with them go, some guys have said that the centrifugal weights can get stuck, or slide to one side of the ring, which causes the clutch to slip, or have problems engaging/disengaging fully. Another member, I think it was Anesthes, said he had a really low pedal with the CF. I'll give it a try though. I will say that when it comes time for me to pay full price for a brand new clutch, I'm definitely going to get the Ram Powergrip, since that clutch works so well in my other car. I had a Hays clutch in my 69 Camaro some years back, and it didn't hold a candle to the Ram. I guess I see the weights on the CF as gimmickry in a way. The Spec and Ram clutches don't have any hoky weights on them, they're just well built.
