the mystery filter

After popping off the 2nd accumulator housing and seperator plate I noticed this little cone filter type deal on the floor and I have no idea as to where it goes.

Also while installing a new boost valve from the transgo kit, I managed to get it all up in there per the instructions and the retaining spring is seated in the grove, but the boost valve is like stuck, it wont come back down against the retaining spring like the original was. If and when I get it back together will the line pressure break it loose?

Re: the mystery filter

There are two of them in the case part of the valve body. One goes into the rear of the valve body opposite the accumulator. There is a caged check ball in a passage on the very rear, the next non-bolt hole going away from the accumulator is where one goes. The other goes in on the front side in a passage on the very front on the same side the accumulator is on. I hope this helps.
